Job Summary
As a Corporate Accounting Supervisor with ISC, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day corporate accounting functions of a growing private equity backed MGA. This role supervises the monthly close process, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and compliance with GAAP while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial records.
The Corporate Accounting Supervisor leads and develops accounting staff, maintains strong internal controls, and drives process improvements to support scalability and growth.
Position Responsibilities
  • Supervise the monthly and annual close process
  • Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
  • Oversee accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions
  • Review monthly financial statements
  • Support preparation of lender reporting and debt covenant compliance
  • Assist with year-end financial audit
  • Provide supporting schedules, reconciliations, and financial information for tax filings
  • Support acquisition accounting for mergers and acquisitions
  • Supervise staff accountants, including reviewing work product and provide coaching and performance feedback
  • Complete special projects and financial analyses as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, preferred
  • 5-8 years of accounting experience
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and provide solid customer service to clients
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines and work independently
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Accounting systems
  • Accounting for an insurance MGA experience a plus

The starting annual pay scale for this position is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on factors such as skills, qualifications, training, and experience. In addition, the company offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) plan with match, paid time off, and other benefits.
ISC's salary ranges are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
National Pay Range
$82,000-$95,000 USD
