Do Work That Matters. Build a Career That Supports You.

At Remedy Behavioral Health, we believe exceptional mental health care starts with clinicians who feel supported, respected, and empowered to do what they do best: help people.

As our team continues to grow in the Florence area, we are looking for a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) who is passionate about providing meaningful, evidence-based care to individuals, couples, and families.

If you're looking for a clinical role where your expertise matters, your voice is heard, and you have the support to focus on your clients, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

As an LMFT with Remedy Behavioral Health, you will provide outpatient therapy services to a diverse caseload of individuals, couples, and families. This is a full-time, salaried position based in our Florence, Alabama outpatient clinic.

You'll have access to efficient scheduling, administrative support, and a collaborative clinical environment designed to help you focus on providing excellent care.

What You'll Do
  • Provide individuals, couples, and family therapy using evidence-based practices
  • Develop, implement, and update treatment plans based on each client's goals and clinical needs
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation in Practice Fusion EMR
  • Collaborate with therapists, NPs, administrative staff, and clinical leadership
  • Participate in clinical team meetings, supervision, and ongoing professional development
  • Maintain compliance with internal clinical policies and Alabama regulatory standards
  • Help promote a culture of patient-centered, trauma-informed care

Requirements:

What You'll Bring

  • Active LMFT license in Alabama — required
  • Master's degree in Marriage & Family Therapy or a related field
  • Experience in an outpatient or similar clinical setting preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment-planning skills
  • Commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and cultural competence
  • Ability to maintain timely documentation and effectively manage a structured caseload
What You Can Expect from Remedy

We know great clinicians need more than a job description. They need an environment where they can do meaningful work without feeling like they're doing it alone.

That's why we provide:

  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Full benefits package, including:
    • Medical, dental, and vision with Remedy paying $350 toward Health Insurance
    • 401(k) with employer contribution after 1 year or 1000 hours.
    • Paid Time Off + Birthday Holiday
    • Paid training and CE opportunities
  • Supportive team environment with responsive leadership
  • Flexible scheduling accommodations when appropriate
  • Administrative and scheduling support
  • A culture centered on compassion, communication, teamwork, and doing the right thing
Why Remedy Behavioral Health?

We're growing—and we're intentional about how we grow.

At Remedy, clinicians are supported, valued, and equipped to succeed. We believe high-quality care happens when therapists have the resources, collaboration, and clinical space they need to focus on their clients.

If you are an LMFT who wants to make a meaningful difference while being part of a team that values clinical excellence, collaboration, and compassionate care, this may be the opportunity you've been looking for.

Bring your clinical expertise. Bring your commitment to your clients. We'll provide the support to help you do your best work.
