This role offers the flexibility of working remotely while being part of an outpatient office setting. As a member of our dedicated care team, you will work from your own home, engaging with clients through virtual platforms. • Conduct thorough assessments to accurately identify symptoms of mood disorders and other mental health issues within clients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, focusing on their specific goals and needs.
• Provide psychoeducation and supportive resources to clients and their families, enhancing their understanding of mental health conditions and treatment options.
• Regularly evaluate and update treatment plans based on client progress and feedback, ensuring responsive care.
• Maintain precise and responsible documentation in line with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards.
• Engage in weekly team meetings to discuss clinical cases, share insights, and collaborate on developing best practices.
• Play an active role in advocating for mental health awareness in the community, working towards reducing stigma for those seeking help.

As an LMFT at Full Heart Family Therapy, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, and families struggling with various mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions. Our therapeutic approach prioritizes the uniqueness of each client, utilizing modalities such as systems theory, narrative therapy, and structural family therapy to foster understanding and improvement in their mental well-being.

• Possession of a valid and active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of California is mandatory.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients, creating a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.
• A commitment to lifelong learning and professional development in the mental health field.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a therapeutic setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic methodologies and practices.
• Experience in working with a wide range of presenting issues, including trauma-informed care.
