We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will hold a master's degree in psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field, and have experience providing therapeutic services to individuals, couples, or families. As a therapist at Alina Centers, you will play a key role in helping clients manage and overcome life challenges, while fostering a supportive, confidential, and non-judgmental environment. INTERN ACCEPTED


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, couple, and family therapy sessions based on clients' needs, goals, and treatment plans.
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and intake evaluations to determine appropriate treatment interventions.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, adjusting as necessary to ensure progress toward therapeutic goals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals (psychiatrists, physicians, etc.) to coordinate holistic care for clients.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with ethical and legal guidelines, including progress notes and treatment plans.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed, ensuring client safety and well-being.
  • Stay up to date with current therapeutic methods, continuing education, and best practices in the field of mental health.
  • Adhere to confidentiality laws and ethical guidelines established by state licensure boards and regulatory organizations.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in psychology, Social Work (MSW), Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current, active Florida state licensure as a therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 25 years of experience in providing therapy or counseling services in a clinical or private practice setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of mental health diagnoses, evidence-based treatment modalities, and appropriate interventions.
  • Strong clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, and crisis management.
