Work Environment

This LMFT position is a full-time role that offers flexibility through a remote work setting. Our team operates from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of client needs and formulate individualized therapy plans that cater to unique situations and life challenges.
• Provide therapeutic services for a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families, drawing from established evidence-based practices.
• Document all client interactions and therapy sessions in a secure and accurate manner while ensuring adherence to confidentiality and ethical standards.
• Stay current with best practices through continuous professional development opportunities, including workshops, training, and peer consultations.
• Collaborate with other professionals within the clinic to provide a holistic approach to mental health care, contributing to multidisciplinary treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LMFT at Understanding Minds, LLC, you will work with a diverse client population dealing with various challenges, from relationship issues to mental health disorders. This includes families seeking assistance for improving communication and conflict resolution, couples navigating difficulties in their relationships, and individuals aiming for personal development. Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• A current and valid LMFT license to practice in Maryland.

Preferred Experience
