Work Environment

This role is fully remote, allowing for optimal work-life balance and flexibility. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental and emotional states, ensuring a deep understanding of their unique needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, collaborating closely with clients to set achievable goals.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions addressing various mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and coping strategies.

• Lead couples therapy sessions aimed at enhancing communication, resolving conflicts, and fostering healthier relationships.

• Regularly review and adjust treatment plans based on client progress, ensuring flexibility in response to their evolving goals and needs.

• Maintain precise and up-to-date client records, including detailed progress notes, treatment plans, and case histories in compliance with legal standards.

• Participate in a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client well-being.

• Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in marriage and family therapy to enhance service delivery.

• Provide crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing acute distress, ensuring immediate and appropriate assistance.

• Advocate for clients’ needs and rights, empowering them through informed decision-making about their treatment pathways.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your practice will encompass a diverse patient population, including teenagers, adults, and couples, many of whom face challenges rooted in family dynamics, relationship issues, and personal crises. You will be key in providing these individuals with a safe space to express their feelings and work through complex emotional landscapes, facilitating their journey toward healing and growth.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a similarly relevant field is required.

• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the State Board.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing therapy services, particularly in individual and couples therapy.

• Proven ability to effectively manage client assessments, treatment plans, and progress documentation.

• Demonstrated proficiency in using electronic health record systems is essential for maintaining organized client records.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with a broad demographic, including children, adolescents, and adults.

• A background in crisis intervention and managing mental health emergencies is advantageous.

• Familiarity with evidence-based practices in marriage and family therapy.

Compensation and Benefits
