Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic clinical team at Soul Canvas Healing. This full-time position emphasizes the importance of delivering exceptional behavioral healthcare to clients in a supportive, remote setting. As an LMFT, you will provide therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families, facilitating their journey towards improved mental health and well-being.

About the Organization

Soul Canvas Healing is a progressive behavioral health practice located in Boston, Massachusetts, devoted to integrating mental and physical healthcare. Our mission is to foster healthier and more fulfilling lives by making personalized mental healthcare accessible and affordable to everyone, every day. We believe that unity between mental and physical wellness leads to better societal health, and we strive to achieve this lofty goal with a dedicated and skilled team committed to excellence in patient care.

Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your work-life balance effectively while still being part of a collaborative and collegial team environment. Although the majority of your work will be conducted via telemedicine, you may have the opportunity to engage with patients in our outpatient office setting as needed. We prioritize creating a welcoming and modern workspace equipped with the latest digital technology to support your practice.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting individual and couples therapy while also engaging in family therapy sessions to address multifaceted issues.
  • Developing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client, leveraging evidence-based methodologies.
  • Cultivating a safe and supportive environment for clients to express their feelings, thoughts, and concerns, and guiding them toward conflict resolution and improved communication skills.
  • Addressing a spectrum of issues, including alcohol abuse, grief and loss, family conflicts, medical stressors, and challenges related to blended families.
  • Keeping accurate and thorough documentation of client sessions, treatment progress, and any follow-up needed for continuity of care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will focus on a diverse client population, including couples, families, and individualsโ€”all seeking support in navigating complex emotional landscapes. The issues addressed will range from communication difficulties and conflicts among family members to profound life changes such as separation and divorce. This variety presents a fulfilling opportunity to make a substantial difference in the lives of those you serve.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.
  • An active state license to practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A strong foundation in therapeutic frameworks and practices relevant to family and couples therapy.
Preferred Experience

While new graduates are welcome to apply, candidates with experience in a clinical setting dealing with similar patient populations are preferred. Familiarity with teletherapy practices is also advantageous, as our model emphasizes flexible care delivery methods.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Life insurance and 401k plan with company matching
  • Generous paid parental leave and holidays
  • Accessible Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Flexible work hours and ample time off
  • Unlimited earning potential with a structure that rewards clinical excellence
  • Sign-on bonus for qualified candidates
