Soul Canvas Healing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic clinical team. This remote position allows for flexible scheduling while effectively managing patient caseloads of 30 hours or more per week.

Key Responsibilities

As an LMFT at Soul Canvas Healing, you will:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients, incorporating individual and systemic perspectives to devise effective treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions in individual, couples, and family settings, aimed at addressing various mental health challenges.
  • Specialize in facilitating sessions that address issues including, but not limited to, alcohol and substance abuse, physical and psychological abuse, grief and loss, family conflicts, job stress, divorce, and blending families.
  • Implement strategies to improve communication among family members and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation and records in compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to enhance client support and outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The LMFT will primarily work with couples and families, providing tailored care to adults, children, and adolescents. Our clients often seek support for a wide range of issues, including emotional distress, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. You will have the opportunity to address complex family dynamics and facilitate healing through effective interventions and support systems.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • Current Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of Florida.
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethical clinical practice and professional development.
Preferred Experience

Candidates are encouraged to possess:

  • Experience in a community health clinic or similar setting, working with diverse populations.
  • An understanding of trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload effectively while providing quality care.

Compensation and Benefits
