Therapist for Hire

Summerlin Marriage and Family Therapy Clinic, LLC is seeking candidates that have a passion and love for self, children, and families. We build clinicians who are future entrepreneurs of Summerlin Marriage and Family Therapy Clinic, LLC. We have purposefully built an environment where all enjoy doing the work to heal, even the clinicians.

Therapist Job Responsibilities:

  • Establishes positive, trusting rapport with staff and families.

  • Diagnoses and treats mental health disorders in families, individuals, and couples.

  • Creates individualized treatment plans according to patient/family needs and circumstances within 24 hours.

  • Meets with patients regularly to provide counseling, treatment and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

  • Conducts ongoing assessments of patient progress, updates as needed.

  • Involves and advises family members when appropriate for healthy interventions.

  • Refer patients to outside specialists or agencies when necessary.

  • Maintain thorough records of patient psychotherapy notes and clinical progress notes.

  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain client confidentiality.

  • Contributes to practice by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

  • Maintain 1099 contractorsโ€™ malpractice insurance.

  • Engage in CEUโ€™s throughout the year to maintain full license.

  • Present full licensure documentation.

  • Engage in a yearly background check.

Work Hours:

  • Office hours are Monday-Saturday: 9:00am-8:00pm

  • Complete weekly a minimum of 10 hours of face-to-face therapy sessions.

Therapist Qualifications/Skills:

  • Licensed in the State of Georgia. LMFT, LPC, LCSW

  • Strong interpersonal skills with families and children.

  • Excellent communication and listening skills with families, and staff.

  • Ability to build rapport quickly with families and staff.

  • Detail oriented with clinical documentation and scheduling.

  • Ability to communicate with compassion and empathy.

  • Strong ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • Masterโ€™s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field.

  • Current with all state licensing requirements, including LPCC, LCSW, and LMFT

  • Minimum of one-year clinical experience with children and families.
