In this role you'll join a large network of software professionals, applying cuttingedge technologies to existing and new platforms that address challenges in aircraft flight command & control, airtraffic control, health care, and homeland defense. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, mentor, and develop team members; assign work, provide continual feedback, and advocate for career opportunities.

Plan, coordinate, and execute softwaredevelopment activities. Manage recruitment, selection, training, performance assessments, salary planning, recognition/disciplinary actions, and competency development. Support program development, ensure compliance with engineering processes, maintain customer focus, and serve as the technical conscience for programs.

Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Oversees the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system development life cycle to support the generation of such engineering applications and products such as laboratory simulation systems, airplane flight control and display systems, avionics, mechanical and electrical systems, weapons armament, commercial and military aircraft systems, mobile and ground-based defense systems, space systems, and other systems and applications of this nature.

Other related degree field with significant software development experience Experience with embedded development using a real-time operating system Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical embedded software systems/programs Process Improvement and Affordability experience Software engineering Management or Software engineering Team Lead experience including task planning, budget management, subcontract management and/or employee development and mentoring Desired Skills Strong software architecture and design experience.
