[Job Summary]

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Controller to join company. The Controller will oversee all accounting and financial operations across the U.S. entity and its international subsidiaries, ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and local regulations, and serve as a key financial liaison with Headquarters in Korea.

[Job Description]

Key Responsibilities

-Oversee and manage all aspects of general accounting and financial accounting functions.

-Lead day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.

-Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

-Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial schedules.

-Prepare and review financial statements and management reports in accordance with U.S. GAAP.

-Oversee corporate tax filings, sales tax compliance, and coordination with external advisors.

-Manage and lead internal and external audits.

-Oversee financial operations for Mexico and Canada subsidiaries.

-Manage accounting related to logistics and inventory, including inventory valuation and controls.

-Establish and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.

-Prepare financial and performance reports for the Parent Company and HQ in Korea.

-Act as primary point of contact for financial communication with Headquarters in Korea.

-Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team.

-Support strategic initiatives and ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements

[Qualifications]

Qualifications & Experience

-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent strongly preferred.

-Minimum 15?20 years of progressive accounting and finance experience.

-Extensive experience overseeing general and financial accounting in a multinational environment.

-Experience managing logistics and inventory accounting.

-Hands-on experience supporting or overseeing Mexico and Canada subsidiaries.

-Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal control frameworks.

-Experience working in the U.S. branch of a Korea-listed company strongly preferred.

-Advanced proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP required).

-Experience with SAP Business One or similar ERP systems preferred.

-Fluent in English and Korean (speaking and writing).

-Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

-Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
