Job description

NSC Skilled Trades is seeking several Construction Safety Professionals for long-term mission critical projects across the United States. Immediate openings are available.


JOB DETAILS:
PAY: $55-$60 and $1000 per week perdiem
START: ASAP
DURATION: Long-term / Temp-to-Perm opportunities
HOURS: 50+ hrs/week
LOCATION: Openings in Georgia and North Carolina


SCOPE:

  • Conduct new hire orientations and site-specific safety training
  • Perform daily jobsite safety inspections and field audits
  • Spend 85–95% of the day in the field supporting crews and enforcing safety standards
  • Monitor excavation, confined space, energized electrical work, LOTO, and material handling activities
  • Support commissioning and energization activities on mission critical projects
  • Investigate incidents and assist with corrective actions
  • Maintain OSHA, NFPA 70E, and company safety compliance
  • Work closely with project management, field leadership, and trade partners

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience
  • Minimum 1 year of dedicated safety experience in a similar role
  • OSHA 30 Construction Certification required
  • CPR/First Aid Certification required
  • Ability to conduct safety training and orientations
  • Strong computer skills and documentation experience
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment
  • Knowledge of NFPA 70E, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and electrical safety preferred
  • Experience with excavations, confined space, energized work, and heavy equipment is a plus
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates strongly preferred with the ability to translate both verbally and in writing
