Los Angeles, California
Employed | Structured Hospital-Based OB Program
Projected Compensation: $170 per Hour + Comprehensive Benefits
She Recruits is partnering with a nationally supported OB Hospitalist program within a major Los Angeles hospital system to recruit Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN physicians.
This is an established, high-functioning hospital-based obstetrics model designed to enhance patient safety, improve clinical outcomes, and support community OB providers.
The Opportunity
This role places you at the center of a structured Labor & Delivery program where every patient presenting to the hospital is cared for by an experienced in-house OB physician.
As an OB Hospitalist, you serve as a clinical leader and safety champion, ensuring that obstetrical emergencies are managed with confidence and consistency.
This model allows you to focus on high-impact medicine without the administrative burdens of outpatient practice.
Clinical Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care
Deliver direct care to high-risk obstetrical patients
Independently manage obstetrical emergencies
Participate in daily Labor & Delivery board rounds
Serve as Safety Officer on Labor & Delivery
Collaborate with community OB/GYN physicians and midwives
Ensure standardized, high-quality care regardless of admitting provider
Schedule & Work/Life Balance
Primarily 24-hour shifts
Full-time physicians typically work 7 shifts per month
Approximately 21 days off per month
No traditional on-call responsibilities
No office management duties
Flexible scheduling structure
This schedule supports true work/life balance while maintaining a meaningful, high-acuity clinical presence.

Qualifications
MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
California license or ability to obtain
