Job Description: We are seeking an experienced cannabis extraction tech to run the solvent-less extraction process within our Lab in Dimondale, MI. Job Responsibilities: Responsibilities• Ensures the safe, accurate, and timely production of products• Ensures consistency and efficiency of product through quality control testing and procedures• Preparation of equipment and plant materials for extraction• Execution of extraction and processing in accordance with state and local standards• Operation of sophisticated extraction equipment• Maintaining strict inventory records of all plant materials, chemicals, and equipment• Operating, maintaining, adjusting and repairs to extraction equipment• Storing supplies, equipment and disposal of waste according to guidelines• Complete the cleaning and sanitation of all production equipment, work surfaces, and tools• Maintaining material safety data sheets for all chemicals and products• Ensures cleanliness, safety and efficiency of the production area• Following and providing input on all standard operating procedures (SOPs) regarding product creation and lab safety• Assist in packaging and labeling of finished products• Provides frequent technical training and coaching for team members• Participate in developing and implementing rules, regulations, policies, and procedures to advance thecompany's mission, vision, goals, and objectives• Ensures compliance with state and local regulations and testing requirements; develops SOPs to ensure safety, quality, and consistent processesRecord and report various production measurements onto physical batch records, and transfer measurements into electronic logs and tracking software (METRC) Experience: REQUIRED - 1+ years in a regulated processing facility in the cannabis industryProven proficiency and experience with METRC state tracking system In-depth knowledge of key supply chain/logistics processes and current best practices; including Reverse Logistics Exceptional change management and leadership skillsStrong project management and implementation skills Expert time-management, prioritization and multi-tasking skills; Ability to quickly adapt to an often-changing and rapid-paced work environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Understanding & adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives and standard operating proceduresWork Conditions and Physical RequirementsWork in an office or production floor environment that may include moderate to loud noise level.
