Job Overview

The Warehouse Fulfillment Specialist plays a critical role in URB Cannabis's supply chain and retail operations. This individual is responsible for the accurate picking, packing, and fulfillment of cannabis products across our locations, ensuring full compliance with Michigan Cannabis Regulatory Agency (CRA) requirements. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience with Dutchie and METRC and understands the importance of seed-to-sale tracking in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately log all inventory movements, transfers, and adjustments in METRC to maintain full regulatory compliance
  • Process manifests, transfers, and receipts within METRC in accordance with Michigan CRA requirements
  • Identify and resolve METRC discrepancies in a timely manner, escalating issues as needed
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state cannabis regulations as they relate to warehouse and fulfillment operations
  • Process and fulfill orders through Dutchie POS and/or Dutchie Ecommerce, ensuring accuracy and speed
  • Coordinate with retail store teams to confirm order readiness, substitutions, and delivery windows
  • Manage curbside, in-store pickup, and wholesale order queues within Dutchie
  • Troubleshoot Dutchie order issues and communicate status updates to relevant stakeholders
  • Conduct routine cycle counts and reconcile physical inventory against METRC and Dutchie records
  • Receive incoming product shipments, verify counts, and update inventory systems accordingly
  • Organize and maintain warehouse storage areas to maximize efficiency and product integrity
  • Flag and quarantine expired, damaged, or non-compliant products per company policy
  • Pick, pack, and stage products for fulfillment with attention to accuracy and product care
  • Support internal transfers between URB Cannabis locations
  • Keep workspace clean, organized, and compliant with safety and sanitation standards
  • Assist with special projects and cross-functional tasks as directed by management

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated, hands-on experience with METRC — including manifests, transfers, adjustments, and reporting
  • Proficiency with Dutchie POS and/or Dutchie Ecommerce order management
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance in a regulated industry
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Valid Michigan driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Michigan Cannabis Employee License (CVED)
  • Prior warehouse, fulfillment, or distribution experience (strongly preferred)
  • Familiarity with cannabis cultivation, processing, or retail operations
  • Experience with inventory management systems beyond METRC/Dutchie

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for the duration of an 8–10 hour shift
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
