Job Summary

Rodeo Cannabis Co. is a vertically integrated cannabis company with cultivation, manufacturing, and dispensary operations in Connecticut. We are hiring an Inventory Technician at our Sterling, CT facility. The Inventory Technician plays a critical role in maintaining accurate, real-time inventory records across the facility and ensuring full compliance with Connecticut's seed-to-sale tracking requirements. This is a detail-driven, hands-on role for someone who takes pride in accuracy and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cycle counts, full inventory audits, and reconciliation across all product categories.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in Biotrack and other seed-to-sale tracking systems.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in coordination with production, packaging, and fulfillment teams.
  • Receive, verify, and check in incoming raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods.
  • Track finished goods from production through to fulfillment and shipment.
  • Support production teams by ensuring materials and supplies are available when needed.
  • Maintain organized inventory storage areas across the facility, including raw materials, in-process inventory, and finished goods.
  • Generate accurate inventory reports and provide data to leadership as needed.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Connecticut cannabis compliance requirements.
  • Partner with the compliance team during audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews.

Required Qualifications

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy with numbers and records.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple inventory tasks simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working with digital inventory systems, spreadsheets, and seed-to-sale software.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive bending and reaching, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to follow strict standard operating procedures in a regulated cannabis environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Reliable, dependable, and accountable work ethic.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older per Connecticut cannabis regulations.
  • Must successfully pass a background check as required by Connecticut cannabis industry compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in inventory management, cycle counts, or warehouse audits.
  • Hands-on experience with Biotrack, METRC, or other seed-to-sale tracking systems.
  • Background in cannabis, food manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industry.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets) and basic data tools.
  • Experience with shipping, receiving, or fulfillment operations.
