Infinity Engineering Group, LLC. (IEG) is currently seeking a full-time Civil Engineer/Drainage Engineer to work in our Tampa, FL office. In this role, you will be leading a team of designers in the design and production of site development construction documents for a variety of commercial/retail, residential, and light industrial projects. As the lead engineer you will be responsible for performing project design and task delegation, coordination, field inspections, measurements, and calculations; occasional site visits required. You may work on several concurrent projects and manage the design team to meet project schedule Key responsibilities include:

Facilitates in the development of design concepts; prepares documents during design development and detail design phases.

Work with a team to develop sketches, drawings, and construction documents.

Based on client needs direct a team of designers / engineers in the preparation of retail/commercial site designs, ADA project designs and coordinate other side development needs .Works with equipment suppliers/vendors to obtain the necessary information needed for design completion.

Responsible for design development of grading, utilities and layout as directed to meet client/ programmatic needs.

Assists in creating project specifications and project manuals.

Ensures acceptable levels of quality and checks for coordination of work to assure documents reflect design intent and necessary coordination.

Coordinates design work with related engineering disciplines.

Attends design meetings and participates in the coordination of work.

Directs project design and completion as required to meet client needs as dictated by in house client management team.


Requirements

5-10 years of experience in Civil Engineering/ Design including experience with the design, layout, grading, utilities and storm water management.

ICPR software and related Stormwater software

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or associated field in conjunction with related experience.

Professional Engineer license is preferred

Proficiency in AutoCAD software is preferred.

Advanced MS Office skills: Word and Excel is required, PowerPoint and Access is preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills is required

An understanding of and the ability to apply Best Design Practices is required.

Applied understanding of Site Development methodology is required.
