MAINTENANCE JOB POSTING

POSITION SUMMARY:

Maintain, repair, and service all plant equipment, buildings, and furnishings in a safe and efficient manner. Support continuous plant operations by troubleshooting and repairing equipment issues as they arise.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment and components.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while demonstrating urgency, ownership, and teamwork, especially when covering for vacations or absences.
  • Perform daily plant walkthroughs to identify equipment issues or safety concerns; monitor critical systems such as cooling towers, mills, chillers, air compressors, and boilers.
  • Conduct routine maintenance, including meter readings and preventive maintenance tasks, to keep equipment operating at peak performance.
  • Perform preventive maintenance activities such as inspections, lubrication, filter changes, and cleaning according to scheduled requirements

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Must successfully complete an OSHA respirator fit test and obtain fork truck certification at the time of hire.
  • Basic computer skills (email, Excel) required.
  • Technical school diploma, certificate, or skilled‑trade license preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of industrial maintenance experience, including electrical power and controls, plumbing/pipefitting, rotating equipment, valves, and pumps. Experience with welding, utilities, and instrumentation is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment, including chillers, boilers, and air compressors.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical activities such as walking, sitting, squatting, bending, pushing/pulling, and reaching overhead.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate with production technicians on equipment or production issues.
  • Ability to work effectively with little or no supervision, manage time well, and prioritize tasks with a sense of urgency.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: Full-time 4/4 6pm-630am
