Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the billing operations team in implementing new customer programs and services
  • Develop, organize, and present operational, performance, and financial reports
  • Analyze large datasets to provide actionable insights
  • Participate in Billing IT projects, including:
  • Gathering business and system requirements
  • Creating and validating test scenarios
  • Supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Assisting with change management activities
  • Troubleshoot operational and system issues and coordinate resolution with cross-functional teams
  • Track defects and ensure timely resolution during testing cycles

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience

Direct experience with:

  • Oracle Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) and/or Meter Data Management (MDM) systems
  • Experience working in a regulated utility environment (mandatory)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field

Knowledge of utility billing processes:

  • Rate structures, Payments, Service orders

Familiarity with:

  • Meter-to-cash processes
  • Outage management
  • Customer service operations

Experience with:

  • System testing (SIT/UAT)
  • Defect tracking and resolution
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
