Job description

Structural Integrity Associates, Inc. is seeking an intern for our Nuclear business unit. The position will work with meteorology technical staff in direct support of customer meteorology programs, applications, and equipment and instrumentation.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Data analysis and quality assurance.
  • Provide on-site support for calibration of meteorological monitoring equipment and instrumentation
  • Prepare trip reports and calibration/service reports
  • Coordinate tower maintenance resources to support meteorological equipment issue resolution
  • Provide technical input to meteorological data review packages

Required Skills/Qualifications:
  • Completed at least 3 years in a University Meteorology program
  • Strong communication and technical writing skills
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills
  • Strong Python and Excel capabilities
  • Ability to travel up to 4 consecutive days (overall travel approx. 25%)
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (mileage will be reimbursed for travel to/from project sites
  • Ability to climb 8' ladder

Pay Range:
The expected pay rate for this role in Rockdale, IL is $27.00 to $30.00. Exact pay will be based on location and education/experience.
