Production Manager
Meteor Sealing Systems LLC has been in business for over 20 years and is one of the top leaders in automotive sealing systems for respected and luxurious vehicles. Considering our continued growth and fast-paced environment, we are looking for a Production Manager to join our team. We are seeking a Production Manager to support Meteor Sealing Systems, mainly for Extrusion. The Production Manager functions with a high degree of autonomy and is responsible for managing and directing all manufacturing activities within the Extrusion Department and ensuring all processes align with the company’s policies.
Essential Job Functions and Basic Duties:
  • Manage and support all daily activities involving extrusion production, employees, and equipment.
  • Assist in modifying the production schedule and priorities to accommodate operational issues while meeting customer delivery requirements.
  • Ensure that all quality systems, work instructions and set-up instructions are being followed and maintained.
  • Monitor, train, and evaluate employee performance and qualifications to perform required tasks.
  • Ensure the Company guidelines and policies are adhered to and administer discipline when necessary.
Preferred Education and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, or a related field is required. Experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Automotive manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Extrusion Manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • 3 - 5 Years of Management Experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Effective attention to detail, problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills are required.
  • Exposure to moderate noise levels is probable.
  • Effective verbal, non-verbal, negotiation, and written communication skills are required.
