Sheet Metal Worker Summary

The Sheet Metal Worker will fabricate, install, and repair sheet metal components for commercial roofing projects. This includes flashing, coping, edge metal, gutters, downspouts, and other custom sheet metal applications.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate, install, and repair sheet metal components for commercial roofing projects.
  • Install flashing, coping, edge metal, gutters, downspouts, and related roofing sheet metal.
  • Read and interpret measurements, drawings, and project specifications.
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Work safely and productively as part of a commercial roofing team.
  • Perform work according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Safely work at heights and climb ladders.
  • Perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, climbing, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of sheet metal, roofing, or construction experience preferred.
  • Commercial roofing sheet metal experience is a plus.
  • Must be18 years of age or older.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift50+ poundsand perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment.
