As the Lead Enterprise Cloud & Systems Engineer on the Central Technology Services team, you will own the product lifecycle for the firm's backend collaboration and productivity platforms. You will serve as the lead product engineer accountable for the health, roadmap, and continuous improvement of the firm's O365/M365 ecosystem, Exchange email environment, Proofpoint email security, Google Enterprise Platform, Metallic data protection, DocuSign, and Smartsheet. You will act as the technology expert advising a team of product managers to help them define product roadmaps, and drive product adoption. You will partner with the security and architecture teams to keep platforms compliant and secure, and translate business needs into reliable, well-engineered technology delivery. This role blends deep technical engineering with product ownership- balancing day-to-day platform stability with forward-looking strategy that maximizes the value the firm gains from its enterprise technology investments.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Serve as the lead product engineer and single point of ownership for the firm's backend M365 platform portfolio, including the O365/M365 ecosystem (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and related add-ins/plug-ins).
  • Own the product lifecycle and roadmap for the firm's Exchange email environment, including the hybrid configuration, mail flow, and related email technologies.
  • Own and administer Proofpoint email security and filtering, partnering with the security team on domain health, threat protection, and business email compromise defense.
  • Manage the firm's Google Enterprise Platform, ensuring secure configuration, integration, and appropriate use across the organization.
  • Own the Metallic data protection and backup platform, including backup coverage, recovery readiness, and periodic restore testing.
  • Administer the DocuSign platform, managing configuration, integrations, user provisioning, and adoption across business units.
  • Own the Smartsheet platform, including administration, governance, licensing, and enablement for business teams.
  • Shift platform operations from reactive to proactive by monitoring product health, anticipating issues, automating routine and manual processes, and continuously improving reliability and performance.
  • Partner as the technical advisor for product roadmaps that align platform capabilities with business priorities and proactively communicate plans to Central Technology Services and stakeholders.
  • Drive adoption and effective use of owned platforms through documentation, training materials, and enablement content for the technology team's knowledge base.
  • Partner with the firm's security and architecture teams to keep owned platforms compliant and secure across both on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Automate frequent support requests and operational tasks using Microsoft and/or ServiceNow tooling to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Triage events by severity and business impact, troubleshoot technical issues, escalate to management and vendors when necessary, and co-own platform disaster recovery testing.
  • Ensure all activities comply with applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related subject matter required
  • 6-8 years of experience engineering and supporting enterprise Microsoft and collaboration platforms required
  • Relevant certification(s) preferred; product ownership or product management experience a plus
  • Technical knowledge across industry-standard platforms, specifically the Microsoft M365/O365 ecosystem
  • Advanced comprehension of enterprise email platforms (Exchange) and email security (Proofpoint), specifically in a regulated environment
  • Working knowledge of collaboration and productivity platforms including Google Enterprise Platform, Docusign, and Smartsheet
  • Understanding of data protection and backup solutions such as Metallic
  • Employee experience and product ownership mindset- able to define roadmaps, prioritize work, and drive proactive platform improvement and improved digital experience
  • Understanding of industry-standard automation tools
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple functions and convey technical knowledge to various audiences

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range at time of posting is below. Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits. Actual base salary within the specified range is based on several factors, including but not limited to applicant's skills, prior relevant experience, specific degrees and certifications, job responsibilities, market considerations and, if applicable, the location of the position.
This role is eligible for either a discretionary annual bonus (based on company, business unit and individual performance) and/or commission-based incentives.
