Job description

Sheet Metal Worker

We are seeking dependable Sheet Metal Workers to join our construction team. This position is ideal for candidates with previous experience in sheet metal fabrication, construction, mechanical work, or using power and hand tools. Candidates with related construction experience who are willing to learn may also be considered and trained on the job.

Pay Rate:

Apprentices start at: $18.00

Probation around 1-2 weeks.

Up to: $27.00 if you have the experience. Will depend on what you prove during the first 2 weeks.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the fabrication, cutting, measuring, bending, assembling, and installation of sheet metal components.
  • Use hand and power tools such as drills, grinders, saws, snips, impact drivers, and other construction equipment.
  • Measure materials accurately and follow basic layouts, measurements, and instructions.
  • Assist experienced sheet metal workers with installation and fabrication projects.
  • Move and handle materials, tools, and equipment throughout the jobsite.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Follow all company and jobsite safety procedures.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in sheet metal, fabrication, construction, HVAC, mechanical work, or a similar trade is preferred.
  • Candidates with strong construction experience and the ability to use tools can be trained for the position.
  • Comfortable working with hand and power tools.
  • Ability to measure accurately and follow instructions.
  • Able to perform physical work, including standing, bending, lifting, and working for extended periods.
  • Must be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.
  • Must be able to work in high temperatures and summer weather conditions when working outdoors.
  • Dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to learn.
Schedule
  • Full-Time / Year-Round Work
  • Monday – Friday
  • Start time: 6:00 AM
  • Typical end time: 3:00–4:00 PM, depending on workload and project needs.
Required PPE

Employees must have:

  • Steel-toe work boots
  • Hard hat

Additional personal protective equipment may be required depending on the jobsite.

This is a year-round position with an opportunity to develop additional sheet metal and construction skills while working alongside experienced tradespeople.
