We are seeking to add a Sheet Metal Installer to join our team! You will conduct installation and repair, inspections, and project preparation.
Responsibilities:
  • Install, alter, and repair sheet metal products, equipment ducts and hoods for HVAC systems.
  • Utilize blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
  • Select appropriate material for each job based on desired or necessary strength.
  • Coordinate required shutdowns and startups of equipment with other departments after sheet metal installation.
  • Measure, cut, and weld pieces together according to specifications, blueprints, or directions.
  • Develop and maintain records for projects and repairs.
  • Inspect products for compliance with specifications and quality standards and requirements.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines.

Requirements
  • Previous experience with sheet metal work or HVAC systems is preferred.
  • Be able to read blueprints and schematics to understand product specifications.
  • Safely operate machinery and tools involved in sheet metal work.
  • Complete sheet metal projects with accuracy and precision.
  • Ability to complete daily tasks with limited supervision and minimal errors.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Must be able to perform manual and repetitive tasks including standing/walking for long periods of time, bending, stooping, climbing, crawling, pulling, pushing, lifting, and carrying.
  • Be able to communicate effectively with clients and coworkers.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality.
