What You’ll Do

As a 2nd Shift Machine Operator, you’ll:

  • Operate press brake and other machinery.
  • Measure steel blanks and parts using tape measures.
  • Perform setups and adjustments using layout marks, drawings, and verbal instructions.
  • Ensure quality and precision in every step of the process.
  • Use a fork truck or pallet jack to move material from storage racks.

Requirements:

Basic:

  • Ability to work evening or night shift;
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret a bill of material, schematic, drawing, and/or specification;
  • Ability to communicate with and follow direction of leaders within the area;
  • Able to work over-time as needed;
  • Successfully complete: application, talent assessment, interview, drug & background screen.
  • Safety-sensitive position: we test for THC.
  • Resides or intends to reside within a reasonable commute of distance of Washington, MO;
  • Has current work authorization for employment in the United States;

Preferred:

  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Two years of prior manufacturing experience;
  • Prior press brake experience;
  • Successful completion of the National Career Readiness Certificate ® (NCRC) offered through the ACT WorkKeys program;
