What is a metal trader?

Metal traders are professionals who buy and sell metals such as gold, copper, aluminum, and steel on behalf of companies or clients. Metal traders may work for trading firms, investment banks, or manufacturing companies, and often deal with both physical commodities and financial derivatives. Their role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of global markets, and the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
