A stamping line operator is the first step in the process of making hose clamps. The operator loads the raw material into the stamping machine, checks the parts in the quality lab, dumps scrap, cleans their work area and then takes the stamped parts to the oven room. A variety of tools are used along with crane and walking power jack.
Duties and Responsibilities

  • Use of a crane
  • Use of a walking power jack
  • Use of tools such as wrenches, hand jacks, gauges, etc.
  • Mechanically inclined decision making
  • Self sufficiency

Qualifications

  • Ability to read, write and understand job documentation
  • Physical coordination to lift and move product
  • Trainable with fork lift truck
