US Truck Driver
Are you an experienced CDL Driver looking for a hands-on role where your skills make an impact? EMR, a global leader in metal recycling, is hiring a US Truck Driver to join our Pensacola, FL depot!
What You'll Do:
- Transport materials to and from designated locations in a safe and efficient manner.
- Pick up full containers and unloads in designated locations.
- Secure loads according to Department of Transportation guidelines.
- Maintain contact with Dispatch and Truck Drivers to get assignments and properly report trip numbers.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must have a valid Class A license.
- General knowledge of State and Federal motor carrier regulations.
- General knowledge of mechanics involving trucks and trailers.
- Ability to operate the vehicle safely.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong work ethic, teamwork skills, and ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Creative problem solving skills, and the ability to resolve issues and provide solutions
