METAL BUILDING ASSEMBLER


Company: Nestfield Metal Operations LLC

Location: Austin, Texas, and surrounding areas

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Starting Pay: $22 per hour; higher pay available based on verified experience

Pay Schedule: Paid weekly

Start Date: ASAP

POSITION SUMMARY

Nestfield Metal Operations LLC is seeking a dependable, experienced, and safety-conscious Metal Building Assembler for projects throughout Austin and the surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate will have previous metal-building or related construction experience, reliable transportation, basic construction hand tools, and the ability to safely work at elevated heights. Power tools are provided by the company.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assemble and erect metal-building components.
  • Assist with installing structural framing, metal panels, roofing, siding, trim, and related materials.
  • Measure, position, align, and secure building components.
  • Safely use hand tools, company-provided power tools, ladders, lifts, and other jobsite equipment.
  • Load, unload, carry, position, and organize construction materials.
  • Follow plans, measurements, project specifications, and supervisor instructions.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Properly wear and use all required PPE and fall-protection equipment.
  • Follow all company and jobsite safety procedures.
  • Work effectively with supervisors and other crew members.
  • Maintain dependable attendance and arrive ready to work on time.




REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous metal-building assembly or related construction experience is preferred.
  • Reliable transportation to jobsites throughout Austin and surrounding areas.
  • Available Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
  • Comfortable working at elevated heights while properly using a full-body harness and required fall protection.
  • Must have basic construction hand tools.
  • Must properly wear and use all required PPE.
  • Able to perform the physical duties associated with metal-building construction.
  • Able to work outdoors in changing weather conditions.
  • Able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a crew.
  • Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious.




TOOLS AND SAFETY EQUIPMENT

  • Applicants must have their own basic construction hand tools.
  • Power tools are provided by Nestfield Metal Operations LLC.
  • Proper PPE, including a full-body harness and fall-protection equipment, is required at all times when applicable.
  • Employer-required fall-protection equipment will be provided or must be inspected and approved by the employer before use.




COMPENSATION

Starting pay is $22 per hour. Applicants with verified metal-building or directly related construction experience may qualify for a higher starting rate. Employees are paid weekly.


SCREENING
