Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
โ€ข Expert-level SAP S/4HANA ABAP capability, including ABAP for HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, RAP, OData services, and Gateway integration.
โ€ข Strong SAP Fiori/UI5 leadership, including Fiori, freestyle UI5, Launchpad configuration, app extensions, performance, and BTP cloud UI extensions.
โ€ข Deep understanding of clean-core extensibility, including in-app extensibility, key-user extensibility, developer extensibility, side-by-side extensions on SAP BTP, and ATC/SCI governance.
โ€ข Ability to lead delivery of RICEFW objects across workflows, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms.
โ€ข Strong technical governance across SAP ITC, ChaRM, transport management, release management, technical documentation, and monitoring.
โ€ข Capability to manage onshore/offshore teams and partner tightly with functional COEs, integration, data, testing, Basis, and security teams.
Roles & Responsibilities
โ€ข Lead SAP development workstreams in large-scale greenfield or transformation-led S/4HANA programs, preferably in industrial manufacturing.
โ€ข Deliver modern S/4 development patterns: classic workflow to flexible workflow, ALV to CDS/RAP/Fiori analytics, RFC/IDoc modernization to OData, Event Mesh, released APIs, and BTP integration.
โ€ข Build a clean-core development factory, including standards, code reviews, ATC checks, reusable components, and resolve defects.
โ€ข Deliver Fiori-first user experiences, using metadata-driven Fiori Elements where possible and freestyle SAPUI5 only where business requires it.
โ€ข Support feature testing, integrated testing, UAT defect resolution, volume/performance testing, go-live, hypercare, and transition to operations.
Generic Managerial Skills, If any
โ€ข SAP-certified or equivalent hands-on credibility in S/4HANA ABAP, Fiori/UI5, SAP BTP, RAP, and clean-core extensibility.
โ€ข Strong engineering discipline: quality-first mindset, reusable design, automation orientation, performance awareness, and secure-by-design delivery.
