POSITION  :HFM CONSULTANT

LOCATION :DENVER, CO - ONSITE, LOCAL ONLY 

Job Summary: 

The Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) Consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Hyperion financial consolidation and reporting solutions. This role involves working closely with finance and IT teams to streamline financial close processes, ensure data accuracy, and deliver insightful financial reporting. The consultant provides expertise in HFM configuration, data integration, metadata management, and performance optimization to support strategic business decisions and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design & Implementation: Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective HFM solutions. Design, configure, and deploy HFM applications including metadata, rules, and consolidation logic.
  • System Maintenance & Support: Manage HFM system administration tasks, including security, metadata updates, and data load management. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize financial consolidation, reporting, and forecasting processes. Recommend automation or process enhancements to improve efficiency and control.
  • Documentation & Training: Prepare detailed documentation for system design, configurations, and maintenance procedures. Conduct user training and provide functional and technical guidance to finance teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Architect with at least 20 years of HFM experience 
  • Strong understanding of financial consolidation, intercompany eliminations, and currency translation.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, and testing.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL, data integration concepts, and system performance tuning.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Proficiency in: JIRA.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
