ROLE SUMMARY:

The Marketing & Campaign Manager is responsible for leading marketing initiatives across The h.wood Group portfolio, overseeing campaign planning, CRM, paid media, content strategy, and cross-platform execution. This role translates business priorities into strategic, organized marketing campaigns that drive reservations, covers, event sales, guest engagement, and brand visibility. Working closely with the Creative, Operations, Events, Partnerships, Social, Digital, Photo/Video, and venue teams, the Marketing & Campaign Manager ensures all marketing initiatives are executed accurately, on brand, and on schedule. The ideal candidate is highly organized, commercially minded, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage multiple venues, campaigns, priorities, and stakeholders simultaneously.

RESPONSIBILITIES:Marketing & Campaign Management
  • Develop and manage campaigns for venue launches, menu launches, promotions, events, partnerships, and seasonal activations
  • Turn business priorities into campaign plans with goals, timelines, deliverables, and reporting expectations
  • Build campaign briefs aligning creative, social, paid media, email, website, booking platforms, and partner deliverables
  • Build newsletter/oversee their development for regular email marketing blasts
  • Maintain launch calendars and trackers for new venues, events, and major campaigns
  • Identify marketing opportunities across venues and markets, including seasonal, cultural, and revenue-driving moments
  • Conduct market and competitor research to inform positioning by city and audience
Marketing Calendar & Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Own the master marketing calendar across all venues, launches, events, and campaigns
  • Coordinate timelines, deadlines, and approvals across internal teams, agencies, and partners
  • Maintain a centralized source of truth for campaign and venue info: copy, hours, logos, booking links, menus, photo selects, launch dates, partner assets
  • Keep campaign information accurate and clearly communicated across teams
Copy, CRM & Guest-Facing Communications
  • Write, review, and approve marketing copy across activations, booking sites, newsletters, captions, paid ads, and partner materials
  • Ensure copy reflects the right voice per concept and supports business goals
  • Plan, build, and deploy newsletters and email campaigns in Klaviyo
  • Develop list segmentation and CRM strategies supporting bookings, retention, and list growth
  • Track email performance and recommend improvements based on open rate, CTR, and conversions
  • Oversee guest-facing updates across websites, booking platforms, OpenTable, SevenRooms, and other digital touchpoints
Paid Media Strategy & Oversight
  • Oversee paid media strategy across Meta, Google, TikTok, OpenTable, and other channels
  • Brief and manage the ad specialist or external media partner on setup, launch, and reporting
  • Develop paid media briefs: goals, audience, creative direction, budget, flighting, timing
  • Monitor pacing and performance across CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS, bookings, and covers
  • Recommend budget, creative, and audience adjustments based on performance data
Social, Content & Asset Management
  • Manage day-to-day workflow and approvals with the social media agency
  • Review posts for accurate imagery and on-voice captions
  • Guide the agency on revenue-driving pushes: new menus, events, promotions, partner activations
  • Schedule shoots for launches, promotions, and events; build shoot briefs with goals, shot lists, and deadlines
  • Oversee organization of photo/video assets, selects, and content libraries
  • Flag weak selects, copy issues, content gaps, and outdated assets
Partnerships, Activations & Reporting
  • Maintain trackers for partner events, activations, and sponsorships
  • Coordinate marketing needs for partnerships: copy, content, social, email, paid media, timelines, approvals
  • Maintain organized records of partner assets, approved language, and usage rights
  • Track performance across paid media, email, social, and events
  • Oversee recap decks for launches, activations, and partner sponsorships with key learnings and recommendations
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 4โ€“6+ years in portfolio, hospitality, lifestyle, or digital marketing
  • Experience managing campaigns across social, email, paid media, and events
  • Hospitality, nightlife, restaurant, hotel, or luxury lifestyle experience preferred
  • Strong copywriting skills, able to adapt voice across concepts and audiences
  • CRM/email platform experience, Klaviyo preferred
  • Strong grasp of paid media strategy, briefing, targeting, budget pacing, and reporting
  • Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads Manager, Google Analytics, UTM tagging, retargeting, and conversion tracking
  • Experience managing agencies, vendors, or freelancers
  • Strong eye for photography, content, and design consistency
  • Basic design skills for decks and campaign materials
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) a plus
  • Highly organized across calendars, trackers, and multi-property workflows
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Teams) and project management tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication across teams, agencies, and leadership
