WANTED FREELANCE WRITERS
The Messenger is looking for Freelance writers in our distribution area.
The writer will work to ensure the newsroom's tradition of quality, accuracy, and community trust.
Join our dynamic team as a creative expert responsible for producing high-quality written content. If you want to make an impact in your community, and have a front row seat for all of its activiteis and developments, we have an opportunity for you.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Coverage of local news and feature stories throughout the area
* Writing news stories for newspaper and magazine publications.
* Taking photographs to supplement news articles
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Strong writing skills
* Must be a self starter, able to prepare questions, interview and develop local stories that will be of interest to our readers.
