Job description

The Machine Operator IV position will serve ourย Water Heatingย Division, located inย Montgomery, Alabama.

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED, Secondary School Diploma, etc.).
  • 1+ years experience in manufacturing environment/warehouse setting working on automated systems.
  • Able to demonstrate basic mechanical and digital experience.
  • Previous manufacturing experience with automation responsibilities.
  • Ability to work independently and solve complex technical issues.
  • Familiarity with basic lean principles - 5S and RPS (basic tools).

  • Work Environment:
  • May be exposed to high noise levels.
  • Physical Demands:
  • Continuous lifting of 5-25 lbs; Frequent lifting of 25-60 lbs; Occasional lifting of 60+ lbs. Must be able to walk, stand, and/or lift repetitively during shift.
  • Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Must be able to configure, operate, and optimize multi-stage automated systems and CNC equipment for maximum line efficiency.
ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Must be able to analyze equipment data to recommend improvements to uptime, reduce cycle times, and resolve technical bottlenecks.
ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  Must be able to perform and document repetitive TPM (total preventive maintenance) routines for automated systems and support maintenance with other tasks.
