Position Summary

The Automation Controls Engineer is responsible for the design, programming, troubleshooting, and optimization of automation and control systems used in manufacturing equipment. This role ensures stable operation of PLC-controlled systems, robotics, sensors, and Smart Factory infrastructure to maximize equipment uptime, production efficiency, and product quality.

Key Responsibilities Automation & Control Systems
  • Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC-based control systems for production equipment.
  • Modify and debug PLC programs (LS ELECTRIC preferred).
  • Support integration and operation of sensors, actuators, HMIs, and control devices.
  • Assist in installation, setup, and commissioning of automated production equipment.
Production System Optimization
  • Analyze automation system failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Improve equipment stability, cycle time, and system reliability.
  • Support OEE improvement through automation and control system optimization.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and system upgrades.
Smart Factory & MES Support
  • Support Smart Factory initiatives and digital manufacturing systems.
