Job description

We are seeking an experienced A-Level Diesel Mechanic in the Norwalk CT area for our Environmental Solutions Client!!

*This shift has a 12pm start time*

Up to $5,000 Sign On Bonus

Are you the person for the job?

Main Responsibilities:

  • Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers
  • Doing preventive maintenance services on truck and trailer equipment with little or no supervision and in a timely manner
  • Repairing and troubleshooting components such as, engines, transmissions and differentials, turbochargers, fuel system components, etc.
  • Keeping your work area clean and safe
  • Using Company Provided tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics
  • Learning new skills through Factory Technician training
  • Working on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

General Requirements:

  • 7 years of practical experience with diesel truck repair and maintenance
  • Engine Diagnostics experience
  • Allison Transmission Repair Experience
  • DOT Regulation Experience
