Job Description

Olsson is seeking an experienced Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst to play a key role in evaluating, executing, and integrating M&A opportunities. This position will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and partner closely with the Chief Development Officer and technical teams to support strategic growth initiatives. The Analyst will assess strategic fit, support due diligence efforts - including business and financial analysis - and assist in developing deal structures, succession plans, and transition strategies.

Key responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain detailed financial models, including DCF, LBO, accretion/dilution and merger consequences analyses.
  • Support the Mergers & Acquisitions team who conduct target screening, industry research, and valuation benchmarking to support pipeline development.
  • Support the CFO in leading financial due diligence workstreams; quality of earnings review, working capital analysis, normalization adjustments and synergy quantification.
  • Help create and monitor business performance metrics of deals, including key performance indicator tracking, profitability analysis and trend analysis.
  • Support post-close integration tracking – synergy realization, purchase accounting and performance vs. deal thesis.

  • Ability to travel occasionally as needed.

The typical annual salary range for this role is as listed below. Compensation may vary based on geographic location, experience, and qualifications. Employees in this role may be eligible for our performance‑based bonus and merit increases.

National Pay Range
$80,000—$153,000 USD
