Position Overview

Mercy Vale Behavioral Health Center is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselors to join our remote team. This full-time position offers you the opportunity to provide essential therapy services to clients from the comfort of your own space. As a mental health professional, you will evaluate clients' mental health needs, develop tailored treatment plans, and facilitate therapeutic sessions focused on helping them achieve their mental health goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and identify diagnosis.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans that address the specific needs of each client.
  • Meet with clients regularly through telehealth sessions, providing guidance and therapeutic tools to help them navigate their challenges.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other appropriate interventions.
  • Create and maintain accurate documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems to track client progress and treatment effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other health professionals, to optimize client care and referrals.
  • Engage in case consultations and peer collaboration to ensure the highest standards of practice.
  • Maintain compliance with ethical guidelines and state regulations to uphold professional integrity.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Mercy Vale, you will work with a diverse client population experiencing various mental health issues, including but not limited to substance abuse disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma, and eating disorders. Your ability to connect with individuals from different backgrounds will enhance their treatment experiences and foster a culturally competent therapeutic environment.

Qualifications
  • A masterโ€™s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee is mandatory.
  • A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience, demonstrating proficiency in providing mental health treatment.
  • Strong understanding of mental health disorders, therapeutic techniques, and cultural sensitivity.
  • Proven ability to facilitate individual and group therapy with skill and confidence.
  • Excellent crisis intervention skills to effectively assist clients in distressing situations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building rapport with clients and working collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Familiarity with EHR systems and telehealth technologies is essential.
  • A commitment to maintaining ethical standards and confidentiality in all client interactions.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience utilizing telehealth platforms for patient counseling is strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
