What You’ll Be Doing:

Here at BridgePoint the RN Supervisor is responsible for supervision of nursing staff. The Nurse Supervisor coordinates, communicates, and provides oversight to promote a smooth transition among the off-going and on-coming shifts to enhance unit operations. The Hospital RN supervisor is responsible for implementing the staffing plan and implementing steps to reduce overtime. This person is responsible for problem-solving, decision making, staff in-service education and ensuring follow-through of operations as delegated.

Requirements:

Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Licenses/Certification: A Registered Nurse - RN licensed to practice nursing in Washington, DC. BLS required.

Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of progressive acute care experience to include supervision and management of specific areas.
