The Opportunity
As a Test Engineer, you will be a valuable part of the development team for new mixed-signal products within our Sensor portfolio. You will contribute significantly to the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive test and characterization solutions for assigned products. This position is the central test resource, assisting in guiding products through the entire development cycle, from initial concept to high-volume production. You will serve as a key test contributor within an interdisciplinary product team, helping to ensure robust and efficient product test.
What You Will Do
  • Design and implement methodologies to establish product performance and ensure testability.
  • Define comprehensive test and validation plans to achieve target test coverage and optimize test time.
  • Develop, debug, and document complex test software and hardware for Automated Test Equipment.
  • Participate in new design troubleshooting efforts and provide recommendations to the product team.
  • Analyze test and characterization data, including performing statistical analysis to drive improvements.
  • Conduct test program optimization and robustness studies to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer to the manufacturing engineering team for seamless production ramp-up.
  • Analyze results during reliability studies to ensure long-term product performance.

Who You Are
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field.
  • Working knowledge of analog and digital circuit design principles.
  • Proficiency with laboratory equipment for characterization and debug.
  • Experience in software development, ideally with C/C++.
  • Demonstrated experience with Automated Test Equipment, with a preference for Teradyne Eagle systems.
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to understand how individual tasks align with larger project schedule and goals.
  • Capable of independent problem solving, bringing original ideas to the team, and making sound judgment calls.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in developing and training junior engineers on technical skills and best practices.
