Job description

Global Director, Downstream Filtration

We are seeking a Global Director to join our growing Bioprocess Sales team. You will a key role in leading and developing a global downstream filtration sales team. This is an opportunity to work on cutting‑edge projects in a collaborative environment.

We are an innovative life sciences company focused on developing and commercializing high‑value bioprocessing products, technologies, and solutions critical in the production of biologic drugs.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Bioprocess Sales Specialists to drive the sales process through territory managers, meeting or exceeding sales and profitability targets for downstream filtration technologies, including TangenX® flat‑sheet cassettes, Spectrum® Hollow Fiber modules, and benchtop/pilot scale TFF systems.
  • Lead and build strategic plans to drive opportunities for downstream filtration solutions.
  • Drive sales process through the territory managers to meet or exceed sales and profitability targets for the OPUS platform.
  • Knowledge of Chromatography is required.
  • Develop and execute a global management plan in close collaboration with Bioprocess Sales Specialists, Regional Sales Directors and the Global BSS Leaders.
  • Conduct sales negotiations with technical and planning teams.
  • Establish and maintain strategic key account relationships.
  • Develop new target accounts across the territory.
  • Support customers as they move through the clinical pipeline from lab‑scale to full process scale solutions.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales reporting and forecasting with a market‑leading CRM tool.
  • Be the customer and market advocate to the internal organization.
  • Interface with Business and Market Development to ensure appropriate product, market and competitive information is shared accurately and timely.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements
  • A minimum of a BSc degree in a relevant scientific subject.
  • A minimum of 5‑10+ years of experience in people leadership in the biopharmaceutical or life science industries; a strong understanding of filtration, chromatography and the entire bioprocessing workflow is important.
  • Proven successful sales track record of sales and developing new business.
  • Proven ability to build mutually beneficial, personable, trusting relationships with customers, suppliers and partners.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated base salary range for this role, based in the United States of America, is $178,000–$230,000. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, employees are eligible to participate in one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package. We offer a wide range of benefits such as paid time off, health/dental/vision, retirement benefits and flexible spending accounts. All compensation and benefits information will be confirmed in writing at the time of offer.
