About Your Role
As a Project Delivery Director within Fiserv Technology Services (FTS), you will lead the project and program management function for a portfolio of strategic technology initiatives. You will drive consistency, governance, delivery excellence, and organizational maturity across project and program management practices while developing high-performing teams that enable successful business outcomes. This role partners closely with business and technology leaders to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and in alignment with Fiserv standards and strategic priorities.
What you'll do:
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of project and program managers, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and delivery excellence
  • Provide oversight for a portfolio of technology projects and programs, ensuring successful execution, stakeholder satisfaction, and alignment with enterprise objectives
  • Drive adoption and continuous improvement of Fiserv project, program, and portfolio management frameworks, methodologies, templates, and governance processes
  • Partner with business and technology leaders to manage portfolio demand, staffing plans, resource capacity, prioritization, risks, and escalations
  • Establish quality controls, stage gates, and portfolio review mechanisms that improve transparency, predictability, and delivery outcomes
  • Deliver executive-level reporting on portfolio health, performance, dependencies, risks, and strategic initiatives
  • Lead organizational change initiatives that advance project management maturity, operational efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Manage portfolio budgets, forecasting activities, and strategic programs while ensuring compliance with Infrastructure Delivery Lifecycle (IDLC) standards

Experience you'll need to have:
  • 10+ years of experience leading large-scale projects, programs, or portfolios within complex enterprise environments
  • Experience overseeing project and program delivery across a broad portfolio of technology initiatives
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience, including talent development, performance management, workforce planning, and coaching
  • Deep expertise in project, program, and portfolio management methodologies, governance frameworks, and best practices
  • Proven success driving organizational change and increasing project management maturity across large enterprises
  • Experience with resource management, capacity planning, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills with the ability to influence across organizational boundaries
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience

Experience that would be great to have:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Experience implementing or enhancing PMO governance frameworks and delivery methodologies
  • Expertise with enterprise project and portfolio management tools
  • Financial services, fintech, or large-scale technology services experience
  • Experience leading strategic transformation or operational excellence initiatives

How you'll work:
  • Fiserv emphasizes in-person collaboration to help you grow your career while shaping the future of fintech, this role is on-site Monday through Friday
  • This role requires flexibility to work overtime that includes weekends and holidays
