The team leads category management for a complex product range, emphasizing digital merchandising and strategic growth. It utilizes analytics and negotiation to optimize assortment, pricing, and inventory. Collaborating with cross-functional partners, the team enhances the online shopper experience and executes aligned business plans. It drives continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence while supporting professional development. The team ensures category financial targets are met and maintains strong relationships with suppliers and retailers to deliver value and a seamless customer experience.
What you'll do:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with project sponsors and stakeholders to ensure alignment on requirements and expectations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess costs, establish return on investment, and secure management approval for resources.
  • Create and execute communication plans detailing status updates, frequency, and distribution to relevant parties.
  • Manage multiple medium-scale projects by developing and communicating project plans, schedules, and adhering to project management standards.
  • Monitor project budgets, identify risks, escalate changes, and ensure timely execution of tasks to meet objectives.
  • Provide supervision, mentoring, and development opportunities to team members to foster accountability and performance.
