Regional Manager

Plant Kinetics is seeking a motivated and experienced Regional Manager to oversee merchandising, operations, staffing, and execution across approximately 65 Walmart Garden Centers in TN/KY. This leadership role is responsible for driving sales performance, maintaining operational excellence, developing field teams, and ensuring execution of live goods programs throughout the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop Team Managers and field merchandising associates.

Oversee daily operations and merchandising execution across approximately 65 Walmart Garden Centers.

Ensure compliance with company merchandising standards, planograms, and display expectations.

Monitor sales performance, inventory levels, markdowns, shrink, and waste management.

Build and maintain strong partnerships with Walmart Market Managers, Store Managers, and Garden Center leadership.

Recruit, hire, train, and develop seasonal and full-time team members.

Conduct regular store visits to coach field teams and ensure operational excellence.

Manage labor budgets, payroll, mileage, and expense reporting.

Drive accountability through operational reporting, store audits, surveys, and photo documentation.

Lead the successful execution of seasonal Spring, Summer, and Fall live goods programs.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Walmart Garden Centers, live goods, nursery operations, agricultural merchandising, or related retail environments is preferred but not required.

Strong leadership, coaching, organizational, and communication skills.

Experience managing labor budgets and operational expenses.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, OneNote, reporting systems, and mobile technology.

Ability to travel throughout the assigned region, including overnight travel (1–2 nights per week or as business needs require).
