About the Company and Your Role: (Brief overview)

Zego is a high-growthpropertyautomation company with an exciting opportunity for Operations Analysts on our Billing Operations Team. As an Operations Analyst, you are responsible for performing a complex billing or quality control function that directly affects the Client's revenue. This position requires accountability, detail orientation, time management, and customer service orientation.

Working closely with other departments, you will help provide an exceptional client experience through analytical excellence and strong attention to detail. In addition to showcasing your critical thinking skills, as you gain experience and advance your career at Zego, you will increasingly work directly with clients to help drive their success.

What you'll do here: (Job functions)

  • Utilizeutility billing and expense technology platforms to produce monthly, on-time, accurate resident bills for our clients.

  • Ensure we have all of the necessary inputs for the billing processto ensure maximum revenue recoupment for the client.

  • Review and analyze outputs to the billing process and collaborate with our clients to finalize and process monthly utility statements for their residents.

  • Review variance reports, datasets, and research explanations to ensure the accuracy and consistency of billing practices and results.

  • Collaborate across the Zego Utility Team to ensure properties are moved efficiently through the billing process.

  • Partner with your clients and internal departments to provide timely prebills to receive approvals that meet billing timelines and quality standards.

  • Obtain expert knowledge of our software platforms.

  • Attend New Hire Training

  • Attend Zego Utility Billing Operations Bootcamp, completing required modules and successfully demonstrating mastery of topics trained. Competency is determined by successfully billing a property (an essential function of the role) conducted live under supervision.[Text Wrapping Break]Topics covered include but are not limited to:

  • Statement Review

  • Ratio Utility Billing (RUBS)

  • Submeter Billing

  • Learn the Zego utility platform and the value of the Utility product for our clients.
