Position Summary...We are hiring for two director roles, one with a focus on Digital and one with a focus on Monetization.
As the Director, Merchandising Acceleration, you'll lead strategic initiatives that expand how Walmart serves customers and drives incremental revenue across Walmart US's Entertainment, Toys and Seasonal division. This role sits at the intersection of merchandising, digital, and ecosystem growth, building a first-of-kind capability that directly supports Walmart's strategic pillar of new revenue streams.
This is a highly visible role on the newly formed Merchandising Acceleration team. Designed for a builder and intrapreneur, this role offers the opportunity to connect the dots across the enterprise and build new capabilities that help shape the future of merchandising.What you'll do...
  • Lead a portfolio of digital growth and transformation initiatives from strategy through execution.
  • Identify customer and business opportunities and translate them into clear strategies, business cases, and roadmaps.
  • Develop scalable omni experiences that bring together products, digital content, services, and broader enterprise capabilities.
  • Partner with merchandising, eCommerce, product, technology, marketing, finance, analytics, and other teams to align priorities and deliver results.
  • Shape business and platform requirements that enable new customer experiences and growth opportunities.
  • Strengthen digital performance by improving customer journeys, simplifying experiences, and scaling effective capabilities across the portfolio.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams, strategic suppliers, and external partners to expand Walmart's customer value proposition.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
