About the Role
The Associate Loan Operations Manager position will provide hands-on support across all aspects of the Loan Operations team. Responsibilities will include loan pipeline review and funding, construction loan portfolio management through draw administration, payoff quote preparation, reconveyances, insurance and appraisal ordering and review, and other key operational functions.

We are seeking someone with 5 to 10 years of direct experience in real estate lending and loan servicing, who brings a solid understanding of real estate lending fundamentals and a desire to expand their knowledge across the full loan lifecycle.

The successful candidate will be responsible for their group of customers and be expected to serve as a backup of our Loan Associates, the Construction Draw Coordinator, Loan Assistant, and Loan Operations Manager. As such, this role requires a highly organized, adaptable individual who is eager to learn and comfortable working across multiple disciplines within loan operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the supervision of all aspects of loan operations, including document generation, loan booking, payment posting, payoffs, draw requests, collateral management, post-closing functions, document imaging, and exception tracking.
  • Act as a backup for all loan operations functions during employee absences.
  • Support the Acquisitions Team with purchase & sale agreements, legal entity reviews, escrow items, credit due diligence obtaining and reviewing financial statements and closing requirements.
  • Manage complex loan structures, providing training to junior team members as needed.
  • Assist in conducting yearly performance reviews and mentor junior team members to develop loan operation expertise.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve loan deficiencies and ensure document accuracy.
