PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The Retail Coordinator / Merchandising Coordinator plays an important role in delivering an exceptional fan shopping experience by supporting the day-to-day merchandising and retail operations at Angel Stadium.

This position is responsible for executing visual merchandising standards, supporting product launches, maintaining retail presentation, coordinating promotional activations, and partnering with store leadership to ensure merchandise is displayed effectively and stores are prepared for every event.

Working closely with the Retail Director, Operations Manager, Warehouse, and Store Managers, the Retail Coordinator helps create engaging shopping environments that drive sales while maintaining brand standards across all retail locations.

This position is ideal for a creative, organized, and energetic individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment and has a passion for merchandising, retail presentation, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Visual Merchandising

  • Execute visual merchandising standards across all retail locations.

  • Set merchandise displays based on seasonal themes, promotional campaigns, and product launches.

  • Maintain store presentation, fixture organization, and product placement to maximize sales.

  • Create compelling merchandise displays that enhance the guest shopping experience.

  • Ensure promotional signage, pricing, and marketing materials are accurate and properly displayed.

  • Assist with window displays, feature tables, and promotional floor sets.

Retail Operations

  • Support daily retail operations across all stadium retail locations.

  • Conduct routine store walks to identify merchandising opportunities and ensure stores meet presentation standards.

  • Assist store managers with product placement and merchandising adjustments based on sales trends.

  • Coordinate merchandising for Opening Day, postseason, concerts, giveaways, and special events.

  • Help prepare stores for new merchandise launches and promotional activations.

  • Maintain clean, organized, and guest-ready retail environments.

Merchandise Planning Support

  • Assist the Purchasing & Inventory team with new product launches and seasonal assortments.

  • Provide feedback on merchandise placement, customer shopping behaviors, and product performance.

  • Identify opportunities to improve product visibility and increase sales.

  • Support markdown execution and promotional merchandise transitions.

  • Assist in setting planograms and merchandising guides.

Team Support

  • Partner with Store Managers to maintain consistent merchandising standards.

  • Assist with training retail staff on merchandising expectations and product presentation.

  • Collaborate with Warehouse and Retail Operations to ensure stores remain properly merchandised throughout events.

  • Support special projects, store resets, remodels, and new retail initiatives.

  • Provide additional operational support during high-volume events as needed.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Experience in professional sports, entertainment, hospitality, or high-volume retail environments.

  • Experience executing visual merchandising standards across multiple retail locations.

  • Experience setting planograms and promotional displays.

  • Knowledge of retail sales trends and customer shopping behavior.

  • Experience supporting product launches and seasonal merchandising initiatives.

  • Ability to interpret sales data to improve merchandise presentation.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work throughout the stadium, including office, retail, and stockroom environments.

  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.

  • Ability to climb ladders and adjust merchandise displays safely.

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull merchandise weighing up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and all Angel Stadium events as business needs require.

  • Occasional extended hours may be required during Opening Day, postseason, concerts, and special events.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Location: On-Site at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, CA.

COMPENSATION:

Hourly Rate: $27 Part-Time Seasonal
