Position Summary

The Senior Manager, Data Analytics will lead advanced data initiatives & standardization of KPIs to drive strategic business decisions across eComm, Merchandizing and Operations. This role requires expertise in data sourcing, quality management, and visualization to translate complex data into actionable insights. The successful candidate will collaborate across functions to develop data strategies, mentor team members, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Leveraging analytical tools and methodologies, this position supports continuous improvement and innovation while maintaining high standards of data governance and integrity to enhance operational effectiveness and customer value.


About the team

The Data Analytics team at Walmart International delivers actionable insights and scalable analytics solutions to support eCommerce, Operations, and Merchandising across multiple markets. The team develops and automates dashboards, ensures data accuracy, and analyzes pricing and customer behavior to inform strategic decisions. Collaborating closely with merchants and market leaders, they standardize reporting and optimize data models using advanced tools like Power BI and BigQuery. The team also manages data governance and vendor coordination, driving consistent metrics and enabling data-driven decision-making to enhance business performance globally.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Option 1: Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Arts, Finance or related field and 4 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.

  • Option 2: Masterโ€™s degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 2 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.

  • Option 3: 6 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.

  • 1 year's supervisory experience.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Data science, data analysis, statistics, or related field, Masterโ€™s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, Related industry experience (for example, retail, merchandising, healthcare, eCommerce), Successful completion of assessments in data analysis and Business Intelligence tools and scripting languages (for example, SQL, Python, Spark, Scala, R, Power BI, or Tableau), Supervisory experience
